Who we are
Ardross Farm
The Pollock family warmly welcome you to our award-winning farm shop in the East Neuk of Fife, overlooking the beautiful Firth of Forth.
At Ardross we farm with nature, producing 100% grass-fed beef, lamb and mutton, certified by the Pasture for Life Association. Our animals are raised on diverse pastures overlooking the sea, and we’re proud to sell the meat from our farm directly through our farm shop.
Step inside and you’ll find a mouth-watering display of freshly picked vegetables from our fields. Our cabbages are so fresh they squeak, broccoli sparkles with the morning dew and freshly dug carrots perfume the shop with a sweet earthy smell. Freshly baked local bread draws you further inside, where our fantastic team can introduce you to a carefully chosen range of food from passionate local producers.
We love helping customers cook with confidence. Whether you’re planning a special meal or the perfect Sunday roast, our team can guide you towards the best cuts of our grass-fed beef, lamb or mutton, along with free-range poultry and local roe venison. We’re always happy to share what’s happening on the farm and the stories behind the food on our shelves.
Shopping here is a calm and enjoyable experience — a chance to reconnect with where your food comes from.
If you’re visiting the area we’d love to welcome you in person. If you live further afield, you can order from our website or contact us on 01333 331400 or [email protected]

What we stand for
What We Stand For
At Ardross we believe good food starts with good farming. Our aim is to produce food that is nourishing, honest and grown in a way that respects the land.
Our livestock are raised entirely on grass, grazing pastures overlooking the Firth of Forth. This natural system allows animals to grow slowly and healthily while helping build soil fertility and supporting wildlife across the farm.
We also believe that if you raise animals for food, you should value the whole animal. We use our livestock nose to tail, creating products such as rich bone broths, traditional tallow soap and moisturisers, and natural tallow candles, with plans to develop leather products in the future. It’s a way of honouring the animal while reducing waste and making the most of what the farm produces.
Selling directly through our farm shop allows us to share our story, introduce customers to the farmers and producers behind the food, and reconnect people with the land that feeds them.
Alongside our own grass-fed meat and homegrown vegetables, we carefully select products from local producers who share our values of quality, sustainability and transparency.
Our goal is simple: to farm responsibly, feed people well, and leave the land in better condition for the next generation.
