Who we are

David Best and Debbie Ferrett - Treathro

We started farming here on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast in 2017. We've built a small herd of Ruby Red Devon cattle and have been PFL certified almost from day one. In addition to the farm operations, we also have a holiday let cottage (available on AirBnB).

What we stand for

Our aim is to raise wonderful Red Devon Cattle in a low input, sustainable way to produce finest-tasting beef, while improving the land.

Cattle here eat just pasture and the stored haylage in the winter all from our own land. Since 2017, little artificial fertilizer (and no nitrogen) has been spread on the land. More recently, we have been overseeding the ground with herbal leys to further improve the soil and pastures.
