The Farm has been Organic since 1998, we farm 85 ha of hill and valley land in the Goyt Valley on the Cheshire Derbyshire boarders, the land is 460 to 1000 feet above sea level with many soil types but all with original herbal pastures and meadows. We breed pedigree Aberdeen Angus cattle that are of the original population therefore are in the rare breed category. The cattle are finished off grass before 30months, we also sell young stock bulls and heifers for breeding. These cattle suit a grass based system and grade well finished off grass. They are easy keep, good natured cattle.
