Who we are

Susan's Farm CIO

Susan's Farm has farmed English Longhorn cattle for almost 30 years. We graze over two sites in North Cumbria. Our Longhorn cattle are excellent conservation grazers and what is even better the beef from them is delicious.

We also have a small flock of mules which we raise to sell for meat.

All our beef and lamb is sold direct from the farm and at Farmers' Markets.

All our stock are outside throughout the year.

What we stand for

OUR VISION is that people’s lives are transformed by working together in purposeful outdoor activity so they can reach their full potential.

We are a certified organic, Pasture for life working Care Farm two miles from Carlisle, providing opportunities for learning and practical work experience.

We are a registered charity.

Our activities focus on:

Educational Visits for school and community groups

Therapeutic Working for those with long term mental health support needs

Alternative Provision for those who need a different learning environment
