Warren Farm is situated in the heart of East Sussex, in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is within the picturesque ancient Wealden landscape and is owned and run by us (Simon and Nicky Bish). It is a small beef farm comprising of 100 acres of ancient meadows, pastures and woodland.  The Farm has been managed Organically for nearly twenty years and is a registered with The Soil Association. Conservation of plant and wildlife habitat and high standards of animal welfare have always been important issues to us.

We run a small herd of Pedigree Sussex Cattle and our official prefix "Saxonhurst" is well known in the Sussex Cattle Society for producing quality stock, we sell small quantities of store cattle and breeding stock to other breeders, and have numerous rosettes to our name from both showing cattle and herd competitions.

We operate a box scheme selling 12kg boxes of mixed cuts of the finest Sussex beef, all of which is, and always has been purely pasture fed, hung for 28 days and butchered locally. So successful have our beef sales been that there is usually a waiting list for customers wanting their next box of "Bish Beef".

Within Warren Farm are ancient Iron workings and a Moated site dating back to the 12th century.  These have been attractions to local Archaeological groups and Scout Camps alike. We feel most privileged to be and be able to share this beautiful farm and be custodians of it as long as we are able, and to feel such a sense of place is very special.
