Help build a new sustainability assessment tool

In collaboration with the University of Reading, we need to hear directly from PfL farmers about what matters most on the ground.

The survey

Tell us what matters most

The University of Reading and Pasture for Life are developing a new sustainability assessment tool built specifically for pasture-fed farms like yours. To make it happen, we need to hear directly from PfL farmer-members about what matters most on the ground via a short survey.

We're asking you to rate how important different sustainability strategies are to your farming system. There are no right or wrong answers, and we only want your honest perspective, based on your own farm and experience.

Before you start:
  • you must be a member of Pasture for Life
  • takes around 15–20 minutes to complete
  • is completely voluntary, and you can skip any question you prefer not to answer
  • covers 12 sustainability topics (such as bodiversity, soil health, and animal welfare), and
  • gives you the chance to suggest anything you think is missing

Your responses will be anonymised and used alongside input from other PfL farmers to shape the final tool and publish academic papers.

As a thank-you, you will have the chance to win a one-year free membership of Pasture for Life or a £50 Natoora voucher.

If you have any questions, contact Behnam Mirgol at [email protected].
